Kitty of the week

Meet Glenda!
From the Animal Rescue League of Southern RI

Let me introduce myself... The name is Glenda.

I am an adult female tortoiseshell with plenty of stories to tell.  I have been a proud mother, a loyal companion, and a very versatile cat overall.

Do you have dogs?  No problem with me!  I have been friends with a husky.

Do you have other cats?  Again, no concerns here, I am easy to get along with.

Do you want a cat that likes to follow you around and be your best friend?  I can do that as well!

In short, I have lived quite an adventurous life and now I'd like to finally be the one who gets a little spoiled.

All my kittens are happy, I am very proud, and I can't wait to finally have a forever home that I know is permanent.

Don't worry, I am not an attention hog, I just want someone to love me and know that I am taken care of.

Hope to meet you soon!

Please stop by our shelter located at 506B Curtis Corner Road in Peace Dale or call 401-783-7606 for more information about the well versed Glenda or our many other adoptable pets waiting for their new forever homes.  You can also see all our available pets at www.arlsri.org.

EDITOR’S NOTE: ARLSRI is looking for your help in raising the money they need to build a new shelter building.

They are more than half way there, but as any of you who have done fund-raising knows, raising the first half of the money for a major project is easier than the second half.

They are southern Rhode Island’s only no-kill shelter. Cathy and I have already contributed and hope you will, too.     -WC
