Things To Do in Charlestown - September 1 through 7

We know the summer is winding down when we say it's time for Rhythm & Roots.

Head out to that blow-out good time in Ninigret Park on Labor Day weekend!

  • The Rhythm & Roots Festival will be at Ninigret Park Friday through Sunday. The live music schedule is here but there's more, much more, to enjoy.

  • On Friday the Cross Mills Public Library continues their Summer Concert Series with Rory MacLeod & Sandol Astrausky performing toe-tapping southern mountain music starting at 7 pm.
  • On Saturday the Democratic Town Committee will be holing a tag sale from 8 am until 4 pm on Old Post Road near Genwood Drive (about a quarter mile east of the Cross Mills Public Library.

Looking ahead, The Charlestown Historical Society will be holding their second annual Night at the Gallery on September 9 at the Charlestown Gallery. There is limited space at this event so reserve your place now with an email to info@charlestownhistorical.org.

As usual, links are provided in the this article and we have more information and more events in our Events Calendar.
