This Koch Don't Trickle

I used to believe in trickle-down economics. Then I grew up.

Trickle down economics claims that we just need to keep our hands off of the rich job creators and they will use their wealth to create jobs for the rest of us.

It's GOP talking point #1, "let the rich keep more money and they will create more jobs."

Well if anything epitomizes a rich family is is the Koch brothers so looking at the jobs in their companies relative to their wealth should prove how well this conjecture works (I won't call it a theory because a theory, in the scientific sense, requires a preponderance of evidence).

  1. I had just turned 16 when Reagan was first elected and even then I knew that what trickle-down economics really meant is that the poor get pissed on.

  2. Let's not forget that Bush I called it voodoo economics when he was running against Reagan for the Republican nomination.
