Our companion animal of the week

Meet Patty!
Animal Rescue League of Southern RI

Hi, the name is Patty.  I am a very shy female who has become very nervous while at the rescue.  Without sounding desperate, I really need a forever home sooner than later.

I need stability in life, and I am hoping you will share the comfort of your home with me.

At first you'll hardly even know I am around, but I promise given a little time, I will be your best friend right by your side whenever you need one.

Boisterousness and vibrancy might not be my game, but I like to keep a perceptive eye on the happenings around me and I will be there when you need a little friend.

I like to learn about the world, and will gladly join you for reading a book or watching a movie or just for a little friendly conversation.  Count me in!

Just because I don't have a lot of words to say doesn't mean I am not interested… In fact, I rather enjoy just listening to stories.  Could you share some stories with me?  Every day would be quite nice.

I'd like to meet you acquaintance, and given a little time I know we will be best friends!

Please stop by our shelter located at 506B Curtis Corner Road in Peace Dale or call 401-783-7606 for more information about the observant Patty or our many other adoptable pets waiting for their new forever homes.  You can also visit our website at www.arlsri.org.

We house hundreds of surrendered, abused or abandoned animals that may be with us awhile.

Animals under our care come from diverse conditions, require special attention and need compassionate refuge.

Our shelter is a classroom too! We provide humane education, obedience and comfort dog training.

Our Shelter is also a warehouse and distribution center providing over 35,000 pet meals to families in need throughout the region.

Our new Shelter will be an evacuation center in times of Community crisis.
