Trump woke up on Monday to lash out at the world over the Mueller report, then
targeted Puerto Rico again. Trump, of course, sent out fact-free tweets to claim that the U.S. territory “has been given more money by Congress for Hurricane Disaster Relief, 91 Billion Dollars, than any State in the history of the U.S.”
But that figure is false.
The
Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), said that as of the end of last
year, Puerto Rico had actually received about $11.2 billion in disaster relief
payments since 2017.

FEMA costs “over the life of the disaster,” which can stretch decades.
