Upper Wood River:

Great for Experienced Paddlers

Saturday, June 5th, 11a - 2p

The Upper Wood River paddle trip is a real treat. The meandering river flows through the forest and out to Frying Pan Pond. The paddle trip offers great birding, chances to maneuver the kayak between tree branches or around a river bend. Not too difficult, unless a new tree is down!

Executive Director Chris Fox will be transporting our boats to the RIDEM check station at Route 165 where we will launch and head downstream with the hopes of arriving at WPWA at 1:50pm.
