Doctors without
Borders has a challenge grant – so your donation gets doubled

Cathy and I support Doctors without Borders. They are our
top favorite relief charity because they simply go where they are needed to
provide medical care to the afflicted.
They don’t care about ideology, religion
or the grave danger they face. This has put Medecins Sans Frontieres in all the
world’s worst war zones, where they attempt to save lives regardless of which
side of the conflict the wounded align. Think Dafur ,
Somalia , Libya , the
Bosnian conflict.
They are often the first in after a natural disaster tears
up some part of the world where the local people lack the means to help
themselves. Think Haiti
after the earthquake and the Indian Ocean
tsunami zone.

They have a challenge grant from the Joseph F. McCrindle Foundation which
will match every new Field Partner's monthly
gift...dollar-for-dollar...every month...for a full year!
Thus, a $25 monthly gift is doubled to $50...a $75 monthly gift becomes
$150...up to a total of $250,000. Cathy and I signed up to make an automatic
monthly donation last year during a similar matching grant opportunity, and we’re
glad we did.
