Since 2016, anti-hunger advocates have been challenging the Administration and members of Congress to stop cuts to federal nutrition programs, like SNAP. Then the outbreak of COVID-19 led to a national hunger crisis. Millions of Americans are now depending on SNAP and other federal programs to feed their families. Join us for a post-election analysis of the federal nutrition programs as we discuss how we can advance policies to improve these programs to help more Americans in need. Register now.

Scouting for Food Virtual Food Drive

Join the Narragansett Council of the Boy Scouts in supporting the Food Bank.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, local Scout groups are unable to hold their annual Scouting for Food Drive. Each year, Scouts in our community collect as much as 200,000 pounds of food from generous Rhode Islanders.

This year, we ask that participants donate funds instead so the Food Bank can acquire enough food to fill this gap. The Food Bank makes purchases in bulk, so we're able to stretch your contribution even further, to reach more people in need. Support the virtual food drive
