Introducing Engine 717. It is outfitted for brush fire fighting with a small tank of water, fire suppression foam, and a pump. In the past we have sometimes had to carry water on our backs to brush fires as far as a quarter mile from where we could drive a fire truck. Now we can reach those fires faster and with more capability to knock the fire down rapidly.
