Reception and Food Fair at the Charlestown Gallery this Saturday

We’re lucky to have one of South County’s best art galleries right here in Charlestown in the Simple Pleasures Village complex at the junction of Routes One and Two.

All month at the Charlestown Gallery, Dave and Renee are running their “Peace on Earth: Holiday Group Show.” On Saturday, they are hosting a show and sale, with gourmet tastings and locavore delights, from 1:30 PM to 5:30 PM.

The Charlestown Gallery features some fine paintings, sculpture, photography (much of it by Dave “Gilly” Gilstein himself), jewelry and crafts. They also have some amazing deals on beautiful oriental rugs.

It’s a great place to practice the principle of “Buy Local.”
