Mystic Aquarium offers nights out in July and August

For four
Fridays nights this July and August, “Sips at Sunset” will offer
families and guests a chance to celebrate the start of the weekend by taking in
live music while enjoying the company of beluga whales, penguins, seals,
dinosaurs and reptiles, and all 7,000+ animals that call the Aquarium home.
It all
gets underway this Friday, July 16th @ 6:30pm-8:30pm, and will run again
at the same time on July 23rd, August 6th, and August 20th.

Celebrate with us this Friday,
July 16, at the Mystic Aquarium with our first Sips at Sunset
event! Whether it’s a date night or an outing for the whole
family, you are sure to have a fun-filled summer evening! The
event starts at 6:30 p.m. and continues until the sun sets
around 8:30 p.m.! Unwind with a cocktail in front of the beluga
habitat while listening to the musical talents of Ben Freiert
and Jeff Lewis. Travel indoors to touch the sharks, stroll
through the Jurassic Giant exhibit & discover thousands of
marine animals! It’s been a long year for all, and we cannot
wait to see you at our first BIG event in over a year! Treat
yourself and your loved ones to a night out with us at the
Mystic Aquarium!

Sips at Sunset - Mystic Aquarium Each evening will feature the stylings of an eclectic mix of renowned local musicians, including Ben Freiert, Kyle Rathbun (both from Stonington, CT), professional session drummer Ken Serio and his jazz trio, and electric violin/hip-hop virtuoso Big Lux (both from Westerly, RI)! Attendees will have access to the Arctic Coast outdoor habitat -- now home to eight beluga whales! -- the Jurassic Giants dinosaur and reptile exhibit -- recently extended for another season -- the new shark touch tank experience along with several other interactive exhibits in the Main Gallery, and many more marine mammals and immersive activities. Food and beverages will be available for purchase as well.
