New feature: animals at the Animal Rescue League of Southern Rhode Island ready to go home with you

Meet Lady!

Starting this week, we will regularly feature companion animals in need of good homes who are currently residing at South County’s only no-kill shelter. Last May, we adopted twin tabby kittens, now named Mickey and Jesse, from ARLSRI and, in the process, became huge fans of their work.

Here is Lady, this week’s featured companion animal.

This two year old spark plug is ready to liven up your life.

Beauty, personality, and brains... this girl has it all! Did we mention that she is a fitness fanatic? Struggling with your New Year's resolution to keep fit?

Lady would enjoy nothing more than joining you on a jog or in some hardcore cardio.  Even though she's a southern bell, Lady enjoys the snow and loves playing in it even more!

If you're an active person looking for a clever companion during these cold winter months, come by to meet Lady today.

Please stop by the Animal Rescue League shelter at 506BCurtis Corner Road in Peace Dale, or call 783-7606 for more information about our many adoptable pets waiting for new forever homes. You can also visit our website, www.arlsri.org (submitted by S. Potter –ARLSRI).
