Protests and Events This Week!

Pop Up Protests Today (Thursday) August 14th, and Saturday August 16th   Washington County Fair Richmond Rotary on Rt. 138 at Town Hall 4 - 5:30 PM Bring whatever signs you have and flags. Sidewalks only.   Parking at Richmond Elementary School.

#BeBraveDay Friday, August 15th   Hundreds of Visibility Brigades will converge on overpasses and bridges across our nation, proclaiming BE BRAVE WITH US, WE’LL STAND WITH YOU. Friday, August 15 at 5:00-6:30 PM Austin Farm Rd in Exeter at the Rt 95 overpass. We will provide letters to hold and large flags.    To get there: From Hope Valley, head north on Rt. 3 (Nooseneck Hill Rd.) for about 7 miles. Austin Farm Road is a left turn before you get to Victory Highway, Rt. 102. The overpass is not far from the turn on Austin Farm Road. From the North on 95, take Exit 5 toward Exeter to Rt. 3. Austin Farm Road is the first right after the light at Victory highway. There's plenty of parking on both sides of the road.

National Day of Action Saturday, August 16th Trump is trying to steal the 2026 election by rigging the system and changing electoral maps. He started in Texas, but he won’t stop there. We are fighting back. Join a Stop the Trump Takeover event near you.

The Charlestown Democratic Town Committee manages the affairs of the Democratic Party in the town of Charlestown, RI subject to RI Election Law, State Party rules and its own bylaws. We meet the first Wednesday of every month at 6:00 PM at the Charlestown Police Station. Any Charlestown registered Democrat is welcome to attend.
