Ways we tell you about new articles
- The simplest and most comprehensive approach is our free email subscription. Our website produces an email each night giving short introductions to each article published in the last 24 hours. You can choose articles of interest in the email and click on them to read the entire article. We never use or sell your email address for any other purpose. You can sign up for our email service here by entering your email address and the verification text. Then you will will receive a verification email. You must click on the link in the email to start you subscription. The extra steps are to prevent spam.
- Many people use newsreaders like MyYahoo, iGoogle, Google Reader and others. You can add Progressive Charlestown to your newsreader page here.

Ways you can share articles with your friends
You can also share individual articles with your friends in several ways. At the end of every article you can see these symbols:
- The symbol that looks like an envelope with an arrow on it lets you send a link to the article to a friend via email. Clicking on that brings up a screen that includes one of those sometimes-frustrating word verifications to avoid spam.
- The box with the letter "f" in it lets you share the article on your Facebook page.
- If you like an article, clicking on the +1 button tells Google that it might be interesting to other people when they do a Google search related to the article.
