Donald Trump Thinks So Little of Working
People, He Won't Pay Them What He Owes

In the presidential
debate this week, one of the highlights for working people was when Hillary
Clinton called out Donald Trump on his frequent refusal to pay workers for the
work they've done for him. Clinton said:
I’ve met dishwashers, painters, architects, glass installers, marble installers, drapery installers―like my dad was―whom you refused to pay when they finished the work that you asked them to do....Do the thousands of people you have stiffed over the course of your business not deserve some kind of an apology from someone who has taken labor, taken the goods they produced, then refused to pay them? I can only say I am certainly relieved my late father never did business with you.
Trump didn't deny that
he had stiffed working people, saying: "Maybe he didn't do a good job and
I was unsatisfied with his work...." Here are the stories of the people
that Trump refused to pay.
The video above features Marty Rosenberg, who worked on the Trump Taj Mahal. Rosenberg tells the story of how Trump not only refused to pay him, but failed to pay other businesses that went under because Trump didn't pay them.
Next up is architect
Andrew Tesoro, whose work Trump personally insulted during the debate. Problem
is that Trump previously wrote a personal letter to
Tesoro lauding the work.
Finally (today, at
least), we have J. Michael Diehl, who provided the Trump Taj Mahal with pianos.
Trump not paying Diehl embarrassed the piano maker and stagnated his business

If this is how Trump
treats people who work for him, it's hard to imagine that he'll treat American
workers any better as president.
