Join in the Holiday Food Drive

November marks the beginning of our annual Holiday Food Drive, which runs through December 31. Join hundreds of Rhode Islanders in helping us get much-needed food to our neighbors who are struggling this holiday season.

We have everything you need to get started:

Posters and boxes are available for pickup at our headquarters during between 8 am and 5 pm
Use our list of most-needed items to guide your drive
Have your child use our One Kid Can! pamphlet to learn how they can raise food and funds
One Company Can provides you with ideas for workplace food and fund drives
Create an online fundraising page for those who forget to bring in food

Volunteer at Food Bank After Hours

Thursday, November 14, 2019 | 5 to 8 pm
200 Niantic Ave, Providence, RI

Join us for Food Bank After Hours: Where Social Hour Meets Social Responsibility! Volunteer sorting and packing food from 5 to 7 pm, and then enjoy refreshments from Eastside Marketplace, Gasbarro’s Wine and Narragansett Beer at a networking hour following the volunteer shift.

There is a $15 registration fee, and participants must be 21 or older.

Mark your calendar: our Holiday Open House returns with a food drive, refreshments, music and tours of the Food Bank! The event is open to all ages, and it’s a great way to learn more about the work of the Food Bank.
