The Rhode Island Progressive Democrats of America
are hosting a fundraiser. We are honoring
Mike Araujo from the Restaurant Opportunities
Center with our 2015 Progressive Hero Award!
Mike is a long-time activist in the progressive community, fighting
for workers' rights and economic justice. He's led many
successful campaigns, including the recent grassroots effort to
raise the tipped minimum wage (sponsored by our friends
Representative Aaron Regunberg and Senator Gayle Goldin). But
most importantly, he's worked tirelessly to build the movement, and
we want to give him the credit he deserves.
